Moreton Energy Solutions ("we", "us") provides SEAI registered BER assessments in Galway. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. If you have any questions, email info@moretonenergysolutions.com.

What we collect

When you use our quote form or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, Eircode, email address (if you provide one), the reason for your BER, and anything you write in a message. If you go ahead with an assessment, we also collect the property details needed to complete your BER.

Why we use it

We use your information only to respond to your enquiry, give you a quote, arrange and carry out your BER assessment, and issue your certificate. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to. Our legal basis is your consent and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising. We share it only where it is needed to provide the service:

• Web3Forms, which delivers your form submission to us by email.
• Our email and hosting provider, which stores those emails and runs the website.
• The SEAI, because your property assessment must be submitted to the national BER register in order to issue your certificate. This is a required part of the BER process.
• Google Fonts, which we use to display the site's typography. This means Google may receive your IP address when the page loads.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. If you become a customer, we keep records for as long as required to provide the service and to meet our legal and tax obligations, generally up to six years.

Keeping it secure

We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure and limit access to those who need it to help you.

Your rights

Under data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
